Network Intelligence

The application and concept of Network intelligence

The whole concept of Network Intelligence Technology (NIT) or as it is popularly known as Network Intelligence (NI) is built on the potentials and perception of Business Intelligence (BI) and Deep Packet Inspection (DPI). This would help in offering an understanding of the data in a thorough and direct manner that helps to the passage of communication network.

The IP data packets are being examined by intelligence networks in a way which would help in finding out the communication protocols that have been used. Apart from this it would also help in obtaining the packet content and even metadata so that a swift analysis could be made about the pattern of communication and relationships of the data.

The purpose of Network Intelligence is to make the function of cyber security much stricter in the working environment of both government and enterprises. The present day processes of streamlining business are also made more stringent and help is offered for the development along with the proper management of products and services that are very new. Network Intelligence also helps in exploiting innovative Web 2.0 and wireless 3G and 4G technologies.

An advancement of the competence of internet business, functions of security and data mining processes of the internet are all done by the use of network intelligence analysis.

Those advocates of internet neutrality who were scared of the reason that the technology of DPI would be used for diminishing the openness of internet said that the same reason is also true about Network Intelligence. Moreover, supporters of Network Intelligence would strongly argue about the fact that such kind of technology would be able to guard all the legal internet users comprising of the enterprises and governments.

It would also help in encouraging an economic growth in the field of telecommunications and other different types of industries. Digital network intelligence would also be an integral part of various different applications used by large enterprises, service providers and governments.

What led to the formation of Network Intelligence?

The hackers and criminals got a chance to exploit the weaknesses of the internet users and commit more and more cyber crime with the development and expansion of wireless as well as internet technologies, which specializes in offering new kind of services and products.

Therefore, it becomes the responsibility of network optimization and others that offer security solutions for traffic management, characterized by an enlargement of IP traffic, the various methods of access and various kinds of action and production of good amount of content.

Traditional tools of DPI from reputable vendors have been known to be addressing such applications that are network-focused like performance optimization, Quality of Service (QoS) and bandwidth management.

The relevance and intensity of network visibility has been expanded with the development of instantaneous capture of the data and also the capacity power of its analysis methods along with Network Intelligence.

This is done by the use of applications that are infrastructure specific to some commercial way out like analytics of the mobile, management of billing and strategies that depends on networks that are IP based, as platforms.
